The gf is back in town for a week starting Saturday morning. Can’t wait to see her and celebrate Valentine’s Day a week or so late. Hopefully the rain holds out and we have some nice weather so she doesn’t have to feel that she is still in Michigan.

From the yet to be released new album . Pardon the lack of Japanese character support if this doesn’t come out right but I’m sure no one who reads this blog knows Japanese anyway. Coming in at a little over 7 minutes it’s my work approved sneaky indie track of the week.

Don’t you love when you are having an absolutely horrible day and you step outside to just take a deep breath and not think about whatever it is that is stressing you out and you smell an extremely familiar fragrance that instantly makes you think of some great memory? Oak BBQ and I’m taken back home to my family’s after Church Sunday lunches. Tar weed and I remember back to Sunday nights waiting for my dad to get back from deer hunts. Fresh cut grass, the one everyone will bring up when discussing this topic, and I am a 10 year old hunting Easter Eggs at my grandparent’s house in Atascadero. Similar to this would be my audible love for Explosions in the Sky and how every time I hear their familiar cords I am taken back to high school football. Yes this is cheesy since this was taken from the soundtrack but it just feels right.

A song by the two groups who preformed my favorite concert of 2007. Well, sorta. It’s a remix of Feist’s song by Grizzly Bear. They didn’t take extreme liberties with it but it is very well done indeed. I enjoy the Brit Daniels (Spoon) remix of “I Feel it All” off of this album almost as much but it’s already getting a lot of love so just like Vampire Weekend, I’ll let you guys get it somewhere else.

Yes, the band that sang when you were in middle/high school. They no longer play that song in concert and almost split up because of it. Listening to their new album, “Lucky” makes you wonder if it is the same band. A much more subdued tone with eloquent lyrical banter. When do i use cialis there is still a hook in there that will keep you singing this part the rest of the day. (Does that make this the “hook [when do i use cialis] of the week” song since I seem to bring this up every week along with “working songs” and a “country” song. )

Too good to pass up any longer as this is my Dad’s favorite song of all time. Yes when do i use cialis, I may have put this on a previous mix but this is a much better quality track and worth the effort to download again.
